Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève 2017
The most prestigious awards in watchmaking, the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) announced its winners last night at Geneva’s Théâtre du Léman.
Choosing from 72 pre-selected timepieces, each of the 12 categories were narrowed down to just six finalists. This is the 17th Grand Prix, and within the watchmaking world- the awards are not only important ceremoniously but also, a genuine nod to truly great horology.
Take a look at the men’s winners below, some seriously handsome and technologically superb timepieces. My favourite two are the Parmigiani Fleurier (who won two awards!) Toric Hemisphères Rétrograde and the Vacheron Constantin, Les Cabinotiers Celestia Astronomical Grand Complication 3600.
